How to Use Coins / Coinz

Why Use Coins / Coinz?

• Create a personalized log of your capture activity:
  • Activate your coin when you want your captures to be included, and Deactivate it when you don't
  • All Coins / Coinz come with 1 built-in filter to only include Physical captures
  • Some Coins / Coinz have another built-in filter which allows you to only track captures of a certain type (usually related to their design; i.e. a Flat Rob coin can be set to only log captures of Flat Rob Munzees)
    • These same Coins / Coinz also have a convenient [Backfill Visits] option, if you forgot to Activate your Coin before capturing

• NOTE: captures made via blasts will NOT be tracked

How to Link a Coin to Your Account

In the App:

1. Tap on your Profile Photo in the top-right corner
2. Scroll through the menu until you see the Coins section and tap on it to expand the dropdown
3. Tap on the [Coins] button
4. Tap on the [+] button in the top-right corner
5. Tap on the space above the line to bring up your keyboard
6. Type in your Coin's code
7. Tap on the [✓] button in the top-right corner

On the Website:

1. Log into your account on https://www.munzee.com/
2. Click on [Coins]
3. Click on [Own coins]
4. Click [Activate New Coin]
5. Enter in your Coin's code in the textbox
6. Click [Link To My Account]

How to Activate / Deactivate Coins

In the App:

1. Tap on your Profile Photo in the top-right corner
2. Scroll through the menu until you see the Coins section and tap on it to expand the dropdown
3. Tap on the [Coins] button
4. Swipe left on the Coin you would like to Activate / Deactivate
5. Tap on the [Activate] or [Deactivate] button that appears

On the Website:

1. Log into your account on https://www.munzee.com/
2. Click on [Coins]
3. Click on [Own coins]
4. Click on the Coin you would like to Activate / Deactivate
5. Click on [Admin]
6. Click on the [Activate] or [Deactivate] button that appears

How to Discover a Coin

Coins can only be discovered in the app.

1. Tap on your Profile Photo in the top-right corner
2. Scroll through the menu until you see the Coins section and tap on it to expand the dropdown
3. Tap on [Discover a Coin]
4. Tap on the space above the line to bring up your keyboard
5. Type in the Coin's code
6. Tap on the [✓] button in the top-right corner

How to Accept / Decline Coin Discovery Requests

In the App:

1. Tap on your Profile Photo in the top-right corner
2. Scroll through the menu until you see the Coins section and tap on it to expand the dropdown
3. Tap on the [Discovery Requests] button
4. Swipe left on the request you want to Accept / Decline
5. Tap on either [Accept] or [Decline]

On the Website:

1. Log into your account on https://www.munzee.com/
2. Click on [Coins]
3. Click on [Discover request]
4. Click on the [✓] or [X] button next to each individual request as you wish, OR click [Approve All] in the top-left corner
