We showed you how to link a coin and how to activate / deactivate a coin in How to Use Coins / Coinz, but there are many more things you can do with Coins / Coinz that can only be done on the Munzee Website.
More Information
To keep things manageable for small phone screens, the app only shows 3 key pieces of information for each of your coins:
- An image of your coin
- The name of your coin
- The type of your coin
On the website, you can see the same information that the app shows, PLUS:
- The number of "Munzees Visited", aka the number of unique munzees you've captured while the Coin was Active
- The number of times it has been Discovered by other players
- How old the coin is
And that's just what's in the header at the top! Then there are also 3 clickable tabs, which have even more information / options:
[Visits]
This tab shows:
- A map of all of the munzees visited
- A tooltip shows the most recent log
- Click on it to visit that Munzee's Details Page
- A tooltip shows the most recent log
- A scrollable list of these visits
- Click on the Munzee Name to visit that Munzee's Details Page
- Click on the Munzee Owner's Username to visit their Profile Page
- Click on the Trash Can button to delete the visit
- NOTE: Visits cannot be re-added, with the exception of the [Backfill Visits] option -- so make absolutely sure you want to delete a visit before you click!
- Click [<-- Older] or [Newer -->] at the bottom of the page to flip through the other pages of visits (if there are any)
[Players]
This tab shows:
- Profile photos of every user that's discovered your coin
- Hover over them to see their username
- Click on them to visit their Profile Page
[Admin --> Edit]
This tab shows:
- A textbox where you can edit the Name of your Coin
- A textbox where you can edit the Description of your Coin
- A checkbox to toggle [Only log visits at physical Munzees]
- A checkbox to toggle [Only log visits at Munzees of the coin's type]
- NOTE: this only appears for Coins whose type corresponds to a Munzee Type
- NOTE: if using this option, it's best to leave the other checkbox, [Only log visits at physical Munzees], unchecked. Otherwise you may end up with unexpected results -- for example, the Coin in the screenshot below can be set to only track Unicorn captures, BUT if the checkbox to [Only log visits as physical Munzees] is also checked, that is contradictory as there are NO Physical Unicorns (they are technically Hybrid types)
- A checkbox to toggle [This coin can NOT be discovered]
- An [UPDATE] button to save your changes
Other [Admin] Options
- [Activate] / [Deactivate] as described in How to Use Coins / Coinz
- [Reset Visits]: deletes ALL visits
- NOTE: Visits cannot be re-added, with the exception of the [Backfill Visits] option -- so make absolutely sure you want to delete ALL visits before you click!
- [Backfill Visits]: deletes ALL visits and then retroactively adds all visits matching your Coin's type
- NOTE: this only appears for Coins whose type corresponds to a Munzee Type
