Features Overview
Creative Munzee players have changed the landscape of the worldwide map by deploying artfully arranged groups of pins for others to cap! Deploying in a virtual garden makes it much more likely that your virtual munzee will be capped or blasted by another player! The Garden Building tool has a number of different uses, so let's breakdown how it all works!
Finding Gardens- A bird's eye view of virtual gardens around the world!
- Garden List - A list of all Published Gardens, put into multiple categories. It shows a few gardens for each category, with a "Show All" button to show all gardens in that category.
- Garden Map - A map showing all Published Gardens across the globe with their designs.
- Search Gardens - Allows you to search for Gardens by Name or Creator.
Viewing Gardens- An up close look at the ins and outs of specific gardens.
- Displays a Map showing the design of the Garden
- Shows the name, creator and other details about the Garden
- Displays the number of pins which are Deployed or Available
- Shows how many of each type of pin are available in the garden
- Shows stats on who has deployed the most in the garden
- Tapping on a type of pin shows a list of all pins of that type which can be reserved, deployed or redeemed.
- When you reserve a pin, it shows up in the "My Reservations" tab for you to deploy later.
- When you deploy a pin, you can pick a name, and in some cases which type you want to use for the pin.
Reserving Garden Spots- Stake your claim in incomplete gardens.
- My Reservations - Shows all gardens you have reservations in, along with which pins you have reserved in them.
- Reservations are currently saved for a maximum of 7 days with expansions on this aspect coming soon.
Designing Gardens- Build your own virtual gardens from scratch with this user-friendly tool, or upload a pre-built garden.
-
My Gardens - Shows a list of all of your Work in Progress and Published gardens, along with ones you have edit access to, and a button to Create a New Garden
- Upon creating a garden, you're taken to the Designer
- You'll be prompted by Cappy to name the garden, and then either:
- 1. Create a new layer
- You'll be able to pick a location and name for the layer
- You can also pick the layout for this grid - this can be square, hexagonal, circle, Fibonacci spiral or polygon.
- 2. Upload a Spreadsheet to import an existing Garden
- You can pick an Excel File or CSV File, or an exported layer file from CuppaZee Gardens.
- Before importing, it will show a preview of the garden design. If the system can't figure out what certain pins are, it'll give you the option to pick what they are.
- Once all pins are confirmed, you can import the garden.
-
Editing the Layer
- A card is shown for each layer with its name and properties which can be edited. Each layout type has a different set of settings, such as width and height for a square grid.
- You can move or delete the layer from the menu button next to the layer name
- You can also import an image onto the layer from that menu.
- In the Draw panel, you can pick a Munzee Type to draw with from the palette, then use the Draw, Erase or Fill tools to paint the pins.
- You can use the Pan tool to move the map around.
- The Eye button next to the layer name can be used to toggle visibility of the layer, which may be helpful in case you have multiple layers stacked on top of each other.
- You can also set a Tagline and Description on the garden.
- Once the garden is fully set up, you can publish it by pressing "Publish Garden", at which point it will show up on the public Garden List.
Garden Status
- The Garden Status section shows how many pins have been deployed and are still available.
- It also shows how many pins have been blocked by other Munzees on the map, or have been deployed with the wrong type.
- Blocked or incorrectly deployed pins are highlighted on the map with yellow or red circles respectively.
