These are unique Munzee types that operate similarly to Destination Munzees in some capacities, but whose main purpose is to attract and hold several Bouncing Munzees at a time.
Here are some characteristics common to ALL Bouncer Destinations:
- Quick and high points
- Easy access to multiple Bouncing Munzee caps at once
- The ability to share the love with other Bouncing Munzee owners
- Achieve Bouncing Munzee Clan Wars requirements quicker
- Attracts Bouncing Munzees over time
- But also Magnetizable
- Have the ability to be captured once per player per 24 hour MHQ day just like Places Munzees
- New Bouncing Munzee landings do NOT refresh the capture setting
- If there are 0 Bouncing Munzees inside, the icon will not show a number. Otherwise, the bottom of the icon should show a 1-6 (or even more if it's a special Double Magnet Effectivenesss Weekend) as Bouncing Munzees stop by
Bouncer Destination Attraction Process
As stated above, the icons for Bouncer Destinations will change to show the number of Bouncing Munzees hanging out. Players will see the base icon for 0, but then a 1-6 as more bouncers stop by. Bouncer Destinations will attract Bouncing Munzees over time, but you can use Munzee Magnets to draw the max amount of Bouncing Munzees much quicker. The Regular Bouncing Munzees timer is still in effect. If a Bouncing Munzee times out, it leaves the Bouncer Destination and leaves an open spot for others to join.
Players who have their "Owned" filter turned on to see Munzees in their area may want to keep in mind that because the Bouncer Destinations are unique Munzee types, when the Owned filter is turned on, a full color image of a deployed Bouncer Destination will appear. It will be different from the other grayed out types. Since you can only cap Bouncer Destinations once per day, it may be misleading to see the colorized Bouncer Destination under the Owned filter if you have already used your daily cap. Therefore be conscientious of only capping once daily so you don’t accidentally use a magnet on a Bouncer Destination you’ve already capped for the day.
The following visuals will help you to better understand the Bouncer Destination attraction process. When no specials have landed on a Bouncer Destination yet, it will appear as follows:
The Bouncer Destination is an enhanced landing pad with a stronger than usual attraction for some Bouncing Munzees. That means that Bouncing Munzees will eventually be attracted to it without the usage of magnets, though magnets quicken this process. The following images display a Treehouse with 2 specials that landed on it naturally:
As you can see from the photos, the pin shows the number 2 to represent the number of specials, while the Munzee details shows a list of specials currently there, and the timer at the top displays the timer of the special that expires the soonest. If you want to see the timer of another special, just tap on it in the list.
If a magnet was used on a Treehouse to quickly attract up to 6 specials, it would appear as follows:
As you can tell from these images, the pin now shows the number 6 to reflect the number of specials. The munzee details page can be scrolled to view all specials. Capping will show the success image on the far right. After dismissing the capture pop up, you’ll then see a pop up for each special you have captured from the Treehouse, such as the following:
How to Deploy Bouncer Destinations
Most Bouncer Destinations follow the same process as deploying virtual Destinations. You can read about this process fully under How to Deploy Virtual Destinations. Just keep in mind that Bouncer Destinations have slightly different distance requirements, as explained below!
When the process differs, it is outlined in the specific Bouncer Destination's section below.
Permanent Bouncer Destinations
Treehouse Details
The Treehouse Munzee is a physical Destination that allows up to 6 POBs to land on it (7 if magnetized by a premium member). The point structure of the Treehouse Munzee depends on the number of POBs in the Treehouse at the time of capture:
Points:
- Deploy: 100 points
- Cap: 10 points + points for whatever POBs are in the Treehouse at the time of capture.
- CapOn: 25 points
The deploy circle for Treehouses is 1,000 feet (304.8 m) from the nearest Treehouse, while all other normal 50/150 feet proximity rules apply. To access the Treehouse Munzee, turn on your Physical filter and find it under “Destinations.” It’s also included in the Premium filters under “All Mythologicals” and “All Expiring Specials.”
Only physical Myths, Variants, and Pouch Creatures will land on a Treehouse (No MOBs, TOBs, Fancy Flats, or virtual Myths). The following physical bouncers are attracted to Treehouses:
- Physical Mythological Munzees
- Physical Mythological Munzee Variants
- Physical Pouch Creature Munzees except Hadavale and Vikerkaar
- Physical Stage 5 Animal Evolution Munzees
- Other Physical Bouncing Munzees as stated in their blog posts
The Treehouse Munzee will count toward the overall Destination capture line the first time you cap it. Therefore daily caps will not count toward badges, only the first time you cap it.
How to Deploy & Convert a Treehouse
Ready to deploy and convert your Treehouse Munzee credits? The processes are easy. Like converting other munzee credits, deploy your munzee via your mobile device as you normally would do. You will be able to convert undeployed or deployed munzees as long as they have no captures on them. You can read about this process fully under How to Convert a Munzee Using Credits.
When deploying your munzee, give it a name and edit the location. Next you will see the option to “Make if Special!” If you have any Treehouse Munzee credits, they will appear on this screen. Tap on the Treehouse icon to continue the conversion process.
Then you will simply verify that you wish to convert the munzee intro a Treehouse, at which point your Treehouse Munzee will be deployed.
You will be able to find your available credits under the Inventory tab on your player profile.
Skyland Details
The Skyland Munzee is a virtual Destination that allows up to 6 POBs to land on it (7 if magnetized by a premium member). The point structure of the Skyland Munzee depends on the number of POBs in the Skyland at the time of capture:

To access the Skyland Munzee, turn on your Virtual filter and find it under “Destinations.” Depending on the munzees the Skyland is hosting, it can also be visible with the following Premium filters: “All Expiring Specials,” “All Mythologicals,” and “All Pouch Creatures.”
Note: Skylands can no longer be moved within 500 feet after deploying due to player abuse. Once it is deployed, it cannot be moved!
Only virtual Myths, Variants, and Pouch Creatures will land on a Skyland (No MOBs, TOBs, Fancy Flats, or physical Myths). The following virtual bouncers are attracted to Skylands:
- Virtual Mythological Munzees
- Virtual Mythological Munzee Variants except Lycanthrope Yeti, Minotaur Cyclops, Balor Cyclops, and Elf Nymph
- Virtual Pouch Creature Munzees except Hadavale and Vikerkaar
- Virtual Stage 5 Animal Evolution Munzees
- Other Virtual Bouncing Munzees as stated in their blog posts
The Skyland will count toward the overall Destination capture line the first time you cap it. Therefore daily caps will not count toward badges, only the first time you cap it.
Badges
Jack & The Jelly Beanstalk Badge Line
With the introduction of Skyland comes a new badge line based on Treehouse and Skyland points! That means all of the points you earn from Capping, Deploying, and CapOns for both Treehouses and Skylands. NOTE: These points do NOT include the POBs captured on the munzee.
The first badge in the series is called "Magic Jelly Beans" which you get when you earn 100 Total Points from Treehouse and Skyland combined. Once you’ve earned the first in the set, you’ll unlock the requirements for the next badge!
