Flat Munzees – Munzee Support

Based on members of Munzee staff, these fun game pieces will reveal what makes each staff member tick!

-- UPDATE: As of 07/31/2024 -- Flat Friends and Flat Objects are now magnetizable! Of course, Fancy Flat Friends are not included as they are bouncers themselves, and thus, cannot have other bouncers landing on them.

Flat Friends

The four Flat Friends Munzees include Flat Rob, Flat Matt, Flat Lou, and Flat Hammock.

Each of the Flat Friends are only available for sale in the Freeze Tag Online Store when announced by MHQ. In the past, at the end of each month, a Flat Friends schedule was released on the Munzee Blog which informed players what days each of the Flat Friends will be on the map for the upcoming month. As of July 2020, the decision was made to have Flats appear permanently on the map.

Representing the bossman himself, Mr. Munzee President, these virtual munzee pins once typically appeared on the map when Rob was out of the office.	Representing everyone’s favorite cowboy (plus Freeze Tag’s Web and eCommerce Manager), these virtual munzees once only appeared on the map when Matt’s favorite sports teams were playing.	This fierce and fabulous cyclist is also the Munzee Worldwide Events Manager, so it’s only fitting that Flat Lous once appeared on the map when Louise had a big race or when there were major Munzee events going on.	Beware the Ban Hammer of the man who responds to your support requests! Flat Hammocks once only showed on the map when Munzee Support specialist Daniel was working, which happened to be quite often.

Fancy Flat Variants

Fancy Flats are bouncing munzees that work like Myths and Pouch Creatures based on variant designs of the original Flat Friends. Fancy Flats are a Player Owned Bouncing (POB) munzee that bounces every 12 hours or when capped. Currently there are three Fancy Flat Rob variants, three Fancy Flat Matt variants, and three Fancy Flat Lou variants released.

The Fancy Flat Rob variants bounce to the corresponding Flat Friend, regular Virtuals with a green color credit (listed below), and an additional other type based on the variant. The Fancy Flat Matt variants bounce to the corresponding Flat Friend, regular Virtuals with a red color credit (listed below), and an additional other type based on the variant. The Fancy Flat Lou variants bounce to the corresponding Flat Friend, regular Virtuals with a pink color credit (listed below), and an additional other type based on the variant. Flat Objects

Not all of our staff members are comfortable with being flattened. To allow for expansion of the Flat type, we’ve come up with Flat Objects! Think of them as the Munzee version of totems (à la Inception) where the Flat Object is something seemingly ordinary but is near and dear to each staff members’ hearts.

Dylan’s Flat Object is a throwback to simpler times, and tube TV tech! Say hello to the Flat DHS, stylized after VHS Tapes from the 80s and 90s. Dylan has a nose for nostalgia, so these tapes (and the badges associated with them) will give you an insight to some of his favorite flicks.	Robbie’s Flat Object features another outdoor hobby of his — disc golf! Whether you’re an avid disc golf player yourself or have never had the opportunity, the all new Flat Disc Golf Basket game piece should be easy to play with for all skill levels.	Tamara’s Flat Object features a humble tool you probably have in your home. This Flat (and the badges associated with them) will be continuing the pirate theme we’ve established for them.	Mari's Flat Object features not one, but two of her beloved kitty children! She’s created a Flat Cats game piece to share all the cute accessoreez and hijinks her cats, Benji and Burr, get into!	Dale and Barb's Flat Object features their iconic Space Coast Geo Store van! The Flat Van game piece features items that D&B have in their inventory, and also the gear they need to maintain the Flat Van for a safe trip!

He’s created a Flat Cup game piece that features all the ingredients and tools needed to brew the perfect cup!	Andy's Flat Object features a very inky tool that matches his art from the WallaBee set titled, "The Chase". Though he does most of his work digitally nowadays, we're confident in his ability to wield a real fountain pen!
