Players engage in Gauntlet Games because they enjoy the opportunity for competition and appreciate the added fun of working together on teams to achieve different goals. However, it’s always nice to collect the rewards for your labors. Below we outline the different challenges for gauntlet games, as well as the process for receiving rewards.
Level Overview
The first Challenges screen will display a list of all the levels, as well as the rewards that you can earn for completing each level. As your guild progresses through the challenges, the progress bar will update to show how close the entire level is to completion. The top of this screen will also display a timer for when the game will start and end.
There is also a timer at the very top to display when the challenge stats were last updated, which should be approximately every 10 minutes. With Gauntlet Games stats updating nearly in real time, it should be much easier to coordinate with your guild to determine what is left to be done.
Individual Challenges
Tapping on any level will take you into the challenges needed to complete that level. Individual challenges must be completed by every single member in the guild in order for the group to progress. Orange shield icons are used to represent these challenges, with the idea being that a shield can defend a single person.
Tapping on any of these icons will display a pop up with more details about how to complete the challenge and if any exceptions apply. If a progress bar is red in this section, that means you have completed the individual challenge, but there are other members in your guild that have not yet. To see the progress for your whole guild, tap on any of the progress bars to see who is left to complete the challenge.
Group Challenges
You can find the group challenges by scrolling down past the individual challenges. These are the requirements that the whole guild must work together to complete as a group. Blue castle icons are used to represent these challenges, with the idea being that a castle can defend a group.
Similar to the individual challenges, tapping on any of these icons will display a pop up with more details about how to complete the challenge and if any exceptions apply. As an added competitive aspect within the guild, the top contributor’s profile picture will appear next to each group challenge. To see the contribution for a challenge across the entire guild, tap on any of the progress bars.
Collecting Rewards
With the latest update, rewards can be collected immediately upon completing a level. Once all members of the guild have completed their individual challenges and have worked together to complete the group challenges, a “Collect Rewards” button will appear for the completed level. If rewards aren’t collected by the end of a game, they will be automatically awarded to all members of the guild.
If a player joins a guild mid-battle and has not met all the requirements for the current guild level, the guild will not be able to continue to level up until that player has caught up. For example, if the guild is at Level 3 when the player joins, the guild will not be able to progress to Level 4 until the new player has also completed all the individual challenges for Levels 1 to 4. Once the new player has caught up on the individual challenges, they will be able to collect rewards for each level.
