ZeeQRew and QRew represent elite groups of Munzee players who are tasked with cleaning up the map and replacing any missing munzees they encounter along the way. ZeeQRew and QRew statuses can be both earned or revoked bi-monthy on the 1st and 15th of the month at 00:01 MHQ time. Read on to discover more about each of these player groups, as well as how to maintain ZeeQRew or QRew status.
ZeeQRew
The most elite Munzee players are able to join the ranks of ZeeQRew by meeting the following requirements before the bi-monthly title update times:
- Must be a current Premium Member AND
- Have at least 100,000 lifetime points AND
- Have at least 250 physical deploys AND
- Have at least 500 physical captures AND
- Have at least 1 cap and 1 deploy in the last 14 days
That means in order to maintain your status once becoming ZeeQRew, you must remember to deploy AND cap during each cycle. Statuses are automatically checked at the selected two times each month. If the requirements are met, the player will earn or retain the ZeeQRew title. If the requirements are not met, the title will be removed from any current ZeeQRew, BUT it may be re-earned at the next checkpoint.
Earning ZeeQRew status will give players the following rewards:
- ZeeQRew title in app & online
- The ability to replace any physical Munzee regardless of owner using a generic sticker*
- Exclusive ZeeQRew badge (pictured below)
- Access to special products only available to ZeeQRew -- (ZeeQRew code found on www.munzee.com/credits)
- Unique merchandise
- Discounted greenies (generic stickers)
- Additional items and perks as decided by MHQ
The ZeeQRew badge appears as follows:
QRew
In line with Munzee’s map cleaning initiative, QRew represents a “ZeeQRew Jr.” level of players who provide extra cleanup help to keep the map in order. In order to earn the QRew title and be eligible for the QRew duties, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a current Premium Member AND
- Have at least 100 deploys of any type AND
- Have at least 1,000 captures of any type AND
- Have at least 1 cap and 1 deploy in the last 14 days
Exactly like ZeeQRew status, QRew status can be earned or revoked automatically at the bi-monthly dates based on requirements. If you lose QRew status, you can re-earn it at the next checkpoint by meeting the requirements. Since QRew requirements are not as steep as those for ZeeQRew, it is possible for a player to advance from QRew to ZeeQRew over time. The rewards for QRew are as follows:
- QRew title in app and online
- The ability to replace any physical munzee, regardless of owner, using a generic sticker
Therefore, while there is no badge, discounts, or unique merchandise associated with QRew, there are some added perks and opportunity for growth. Plus, QRew status opens players up to more points opportunities while helping to clean the map.
QRewzee Munzee
All ZeeQRew and QRew players will be able to see the QRewzee Munzee icon on the map for the following physical Munzee types which have not had activity on them in the last 365 days. These munzees include:
- All physical Jewels
- Physical Clan Weapons
- Greenies
- Regular Mysteries and physical Elemental Mysteries (Fire, Earth, Water, and Ice)
- Premium Munzees
The QRewzee Munzees will only appear on the map during designated QRewsdays, which will be released in a monthly schedule prior to the start of each month.
Points
- Capture: 100 points (and an icon)
- CapOn: 10 points
Players are able to capture QRewzee Munzees on their own munzees or previously capped munzees. In order to view the QRewzee Munzees, turn on the physical “Other” filter and the “QRewzee” filter under Premium options to “Only show these types.” QRewzees can only be filtered in v4 of the Munzee app.
Players can also enjoy a line of badges associated with QRewzee captures. The first badge in the series appears as follows and can be earned by capturing 1 QRewzee Munzee:
*When a Munzee is replaced a “replaced by” journal entry is made. Abuse of ZeeQRew or QRew abilities can result in removal of title and rights permanently.
