The PinPoints Loyalty Program is a rewards program offered by Freeze Tag for customers to earn a new store credit called PinPoints! As customers earn PinPoints, they will be able to redeem them for rewards offered in the PinPoints store. The PinPoints catalogue will offer some existing and some new products on a rotating basis!
Like most loyalty program credits, PinPoints have no cash value. However, they will be redeemable for REAL products in the PinPoints store.
You can earn PinPoints by Purchasing products from the Freeze Tag Online Store. Sometimes you can also earn PinPoints by capturing certain Munzee types, such as seasonal specials like the ZEEster Eggs.
In order to start using your PinPoints, you’ll need to link your Freeze Tag store account to your Munzee player account. This initial process involves a few steps, but you’ll only need to do it once. Then you can use your PinPoints freely!
We've put together a video tutorial to help with the process, but we highly suggest you read the entire Help Guide article as well. Please follow the account setup steps closely and if you have any issues reach out to email@example.com.
1. CREATE AN ACCOUNT
First, you’ll need to create a Freeze Tag Store Account. Please note that even if you have made purchases with the FT store in the past, you will still need to make an account.
There are two ways you can create a Freeze Tag Store Account:
- Via the Freeze Tag Online Store:
- Go to store.freezetag.com and click “Account” at the top right
- Click “Create Account” from the list under the input fields
- Fill in the required information
- Via Loyalty Widget
- Click on the “PinPoints” widget on bottom right of screen
- In the pop-up, click “Sign Up”
- Fill in the required information
- After creating your Store Account you’ll need to go to check your email and complete the verification process.
2. LINK YOUR ACCOUNTS
Next you’ll need to link your Munzee and Store Accounts. This step must be done on the Munzee website. There is currently no way to access your PinPoints from the Munzee app.
- Go to munzee.com/pinpoints or choose “PinPoints” from dropdown menu on your player profile section of the Munzee website.
- Enter the email you used to sign up for the Store Account in the field and click “Link Account”
- If a Store Account is found, a table will show and you will see “Your Munzee account is linked to a Shopify account associated with [email]. If this is not correct, please unlink and try again.
- If a Store Account is not found, an error message saying “[email] is not associated with a Shopify account. Please try again.” From there, you can enter another email. THIS IS CASE SENSITIVE.
- You will then need to verify that you have access to the Freeze Tag Store Account email you submitted. Just go to your email and click the link provided to verify the accounts.
- Once the accounts have been verified and linked you'll be brought to your PinPoints History.
- This table will show you all of your PinPoints activity including points you’ve earned, rewards you have redeemed, and any pending transactions. If you do not have any PinPoints at the time of signing up this table will be blank.
3. REDEEM YOUR PINPOINTS
As you earn more PinPoints from various activities you’ll be able to redeem them through a special section of the Freeze Tag Online Store.
- Via Store
- Go to store.freezetag.com/pages/pinpoints to see the loyalty panel.
- Here you will see how many PinPoints you have, different ways to earn, and more.
- Via Widget
- On store.freezetag.com, the widget on the bottom right will show how many PinPoints you currently have.
- Click on the widget to show a pop up loyalty panel.
- Click on the “Get Rewards” tab to show the available products.
- The catalog of rewards will rotate over time, so always check back to see what’s available!
- Redeemable rewards are shown in color. If you do not have enough points for a reward, the button will be greyed out with a status bar underneath.
- Click on the Reward you would like to redeem.
- If you click “Yes” on the next message it will redeem instantly and there is no refund. Be sure you are 100% sure you want this product before clicking “Yes”.
- Click “Yes” on the pop up saying “Redeem XXXX points for this reward?”
- The reward will then be added to your shopping cart.
- If you see no pop up message you may need to disable your pop-up blocker or use control click.
- Copy the voucher code from the pop up- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
- The item will be added to your cart at full value, so you will have to input this discount code in order to get the reward for free.
- Either click “Go to cart” or continue shopping in the Freeze Tag store. You may not add any other PinPoint branded items to your cart and will need to check out before redeeming any other rewards. If you remove the item from the cart or leave check out process you may not be able to add it again.
- When you checkout enter your username in the cart page underneath the item.
- You must enter the username of the player who will receive the reward.
- You are able to gift PinPoint rewards to other players, but again you must enter the correct username in this section.
- You will check out as normal and enter the discount voucher during checkout.
- Please note that you can only use one discount code per purchase, so this reward cannot be combined with any other offers or rewards.
- Once the purchase has been completed the reward will be credited to your account.
- You can view the entire catalog of rewards at munzee.com/pinpointsrewards, which will update with new products over time.
- Some rewards will only be able to be redeemed in limited quantity per month. This information is also listed in the catalog.
